This page shows patterns used on later Radford pieces, with pictures where possible. Most patterns are identified by a two letter code, although some unmarked patterns do exist. Early patterns are not shown here. (A large selection of these are shown in Galleries 2 & 3). 

Earlier pieces are (almost) always marked as Radford, and most collectors of the early wares will recognise even an unfamiliar pattern.

Many of the smaller later pieces, however, are only marked "Made in England" or only have the pattern letters, thus it can be difficult, for the newcomer particularly, to be sure about the identity.

The patterns shown below are by no means all that exist, others will be added in due course.   Gallery 4 shows a selection of "later" pieces.

Note that variations of the colours and patterns will occur, depending on the size and shape of the piece.  A small BC dish, for example, may only have a single colour of flower, not three or four as shown above.

Some of the later patterns have no letter code, below are some of these, although there are a number of others.  Depending on the size of the piece, they will normally still have the "E.Radford England Handpainted" or "Made in England" mark.
